Directions

HI-Downtown

1. Amtrak:
From Oakland or Emeryville train stations, take an Amtrak connecting bus to the San Francisco shopping center (at Powell and Market).
*Follow directions from the BART Station.

2. Air:
(SFO): Take BART to the Powell Station ($5) or SamTrans Bus #292 to the Transbay Terminal ($3).
(OAK): From the Coliseum Station take BART to Powell Station ($5).

3. By car:
From Hwy 101 (or Van Ness Ave.) Drive east on Post and then turn right on Mason. HI-Downtown is two blocks down on the left.

From Transbay Terminal:
Take MUNI Bus #38 to Mason, walk half a block south, HI-Downtown is on the left hand side.

From BART (Powell Station):
Walk north two blocks on Powell, turn left on O'Farrell, then turn right on Mason.

 

 

HI-City Center

1. Amtrak:
 From Oakland or Emeryville train stations, take an Amtrak connecting bus to the Ferry Building (at Mission and the Embarcadero).
*Follow directions from the Muni and the BART Station.

2. Air:
(SFO): Take BART to Montgomery Station ($5) or SamTrans Bus #292 to the Transbay Terminal ($3).
(OAK): From the Coliseum Station take BART to Montgomery Station ($5).

3. By car:
 From Hwy 101 (or Van Ness Ave.) Drive east on O'Farell, turn right on Hyde and then right on Ellis; HI-City Center is on the left hand side.

From Transbay Terminal:
 Take MUNI Bus #38 to Larkin and Geary, walk two blocks south until Ellis, HI-City Center is across the street.

From Muni Station (Embarcadero):
Take Muni N Line to the Montgomery Station.
 From BART (Montgomery Station):
 Take MUNI Bus #38 to Larkin and Geary, walk two blocks south to Ellis and turn left.

 

HI-Fisherman's Wharf

1. Amtrak:

 From the Hwy 101 (or Van Ness Ave.) turn left on Bay and right on Franklin (Ft Mason entrance), follow the road to Bldg 240. Free Parking!

From Transbay Terminal:
 Take MUNI Bus #10 to Van Ness, walk one block west to Franklin, enter Ft Mason and follow the road to Bldg 240.

From BART (Embarcadero Station):
 Take MUNI F line to Fisherman's Wharf and MUNI Bus #10 to Van Ness Ave, walk one block west to Franklin, enter Ft Mason and follow the road to Bldg 240.
